There are some fantastic super cuvée Garnachas appearing throughout Spain and we are very fortunate that our favourite Rioja producers have come up with one.
From a tiny plot of very old vines in Rioja Alta, classified as a basic Rioja.
Needs plenty of air at this stage, April 2019. Night one was very subdued, pleasant but a little dull. Second night it really opened up, ripe, juicy fruit, sublimely rich. With or without food, this is a beautiful drink and can be expected to develop for years
