Joseph Castan
Maison Joseph Castan was founded by Vianney Castan in 2007, naming it after his grandfather
who had purchased the family's first Languedoc estate in 1907. Vianney quickly
gained a reputation as a brilliant young winemaker and achieved great success as a negociant, mainly producing
Vin de Pays, and also used his facilities to bottle and promote the wines from neighbouring
estates, exporting to 15 countries around the world. In 2012 Vianney and his wife, Emilie Jamis, purchased

Chateau Saint-Jean d'Aumieres in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation,
with 50 hectares of land, of which 35 are under vine.
