Framingham Wines
Framingham is one of those rare delights - an unashamedly modern vineyard simply interested in great wine.
The Riesling vineyard was first planted in 1981, the first wines eight years later and every year since then they've got better. Now, with low intervention, low yields, certified bio-dynamic labour and an intense hand-working philosophy, those vines are some of the finest in Marlborough today.
Framingham's vintner Andrew Hedley has pioneered Framingham's calling card - it's stunning rieslings. He delights in the muscular-yet-refined characteristics of Germany and lists a full range of stunning Rieslings as a testament to the quality of his fruit. Alongside the original plantations are newer blocks of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Viognier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
