Domaine La Croix Belle
Situated in the commune of Puissalicon, north of Beziers, between the Massif Central and the Mediterranean,
Domaine La Croix Belle has been handed down from father to son since at least 1794, although it is believed that wine was being produced
there as long ago as Roman times. Owned by Francoise & Jacques Boyer since 1977, and much expanded under their tenure,
the estate covers around 80 hectares of vines producing red, white & rose wines under the
Cotes de Thongue classification and has been certified Terra Vitis, arguably a more stringent
approach to sustainable farming than organic certification, for many years.
