Opened cool, there's an immediate rush of strawberry fruit on the nose, combined with a freshness that carry to the back of the head. The palate is cooler fruit, some juicy rhubarb to start, blackberry of mixed ripeness, and fresh acidity in the mouth in mid and follow. There's some rustic tannin in the follow that cries out for hot food, overall another great success at Famille Castan. Salut !
