Wakefield Promised Land Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Spotted as possibly too good for, and so dug out of, the cooking wine pile. Floral nose of aged Semillon, lime and even a little petrol. Fruit salad & sherbet lemons, which carry onto the palate, where flavours are faded and tertiary, yielding little but not unpleasant. Very weak lime cordial with even less sugar and little apparent alcohol. Noone would buy this twice but if they follow the instructions on this page they shouldn't feel too bad about buying it once. It's too good for cooking
