The Shy Albatross Sauvignon 2019

There's so much tropical fruit here it's no longer possible to describe it as bone dry, but there's still a biting acidity for palate cleansing, and aromas that give new meaning to the word 'pungent', in a nice way. It's a bigger wine in style than the 2017 (if there ever was a 2018 it slipped us by so we can't comment) and it's far more Marlborough than Loire now, or anywhere else with an 'l' or an 'o' for that matter. Real crowd-pleaser and such an easy one to recommend. Thank you, Andrew Bailey aka Shy Albatross Wines, for making our lives that bit easier
