There are some absolutely superb wines being made in the Lebanon at all price levels, most of which have hitherto been overlooked by the rest of the world, or simply overshadowed by the 'brand names'. The closure of Chateau Musar's London office, with the agency being transferred to one of the big national wholesalers, who have made it next to impossible for us to continue with the wine, has forced us to look elsewhere. The results of our investigations have been extremely successful and we are very pleased to be able to offer the selection of wines below, all of which we believe to be excellent value

Rouge de Cana 2003, Clos de Cana, Lamartine Valley 7.98 95.76 overlooking the Lamartine Valley at the heart of Mount Lebanon, Clos de Cana enjoys 3200 hours of sunshine each year. The wine, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault, is medium bodied with unique flavours of dark fruits & spice, soft, smooth tannins & some good bottle age

Domaine des Tourelles 2006, Bekaa Valley 8.70 104.46 established in 1868 by a French military engineer, Domaine des Tourelles was the first commercial winery in Lebanon. A Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah blend, this is a wonderfully rich & elegant wine with hints of Morella cherry, youthful in style but will age beautifully

Cuvee Lamartine 2002, Clos de Cana, Lamartine Valley 11.28 135.36 the premium wine from this estate next to Mount Lebanon, produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Grenache, rich & powerful without being overbearing, subtle flavours of thyme & rosemary, absolutely unique

Marquis des Beys Grand Cuvee 2005, Bekaa Valley 17.23 206.80 the top wine from Domaine des Tourelles, a blend of equal parts Syrah & Cabernet Sauvignon, from low yielding vines, aged in French oak and produced in very limited quantities, elegant & very impressive

Domaine des Tourelles 2007, Bekaa Valley 6.00 72.00 a very interesting blend of Muscat & Ugni, dry but rich with lovely aromatic qualities

Minimum order is one case (of 12 bottles or equivalent) which may be mixed from any of our wines listed

Delivery is free for all orders within our own delivery area (currently London and most surrounding counties) and for 3+ case orders throughout the remainder of the UK, excluding Highlands & Islands (please enquire for rates). Orders of less than 3 cases sent by third party carrier will be charged at cost or below (around £5.20 per case excluding VAT)
